Practical Supports

Clothing Room

For those individuals that may need it, we offer a variety of practical support.

Free Pregnancy Tests

We offer free pregnancy tests with the support of a trained client advocate in a confidential, non-judgmental environment. You can contact us to make an appointment or stop by if you’re in the area. When you arrive at the Centre, you’ll have the opportunity to chat with a client advocate before you take the test. You will have the chance to learn about your options and find out about resources within the Centre and the community available to you.

Let’s be honest, taking a pregnancy test can be an emotional and overwhelming experience – not taking that test by yourself might make it just a little easier.

Community Supports

The goal of the Lethbridge Pregnancy Care Centre (LPCC) is to provide you with the emotional and practical support you need when faced with an unexpected pregnancy. Each client has an individual set of circumstances and needs. The LPCC works to ensure that every client is aware of the supports and resources available, not just within the Centre, but the community as well.  A client advocate will meet with you to discuss your needs and then will work to help connect you to the community services that would be most helpful to your situation.

Clothing Room

Access to our clothing room is dependent on income and individual needs. Items available in the clothing room are dependent on donations and vary from month to month.

Policy:
1) You may use the clothing room once every 30 days.
2) Use of the clothing room use is restricted to one client at a time. For this reason, it is requested that you make an appointment with your client advocate in advance.
3) You may only use the clothing room for yourself and your children. If you know someone in need, please ask them to contact us and we will be happy to assist them.
