FAQ for Clients & Potential Clients
All of our services are confidential, which means we never disclose client information with outside agencies or individuals without prior consent. We will not share your name or private information except where required by law to report, in cases such as suspected abuse, or to act to prevent harm to self or others.
Just that, everything is free! We never charge for pregnancy tests or access to our clothing room.
We understand that every individual is on their own path through life with all of it’s unique challenges and joys. We never judge past, current or future decisions but instead choose to empower and support each person individually. Our dream is to see everyone reach their full potential and live a happy and fulfilled life.
Counsellors usually have graduate-level training in counselling or psychotherapy. They usually work in more formal environments, with specific therapeutic skills and goals.
Peer Supporters can be trained in a wide range of skills. These include active listening and helping skills. They often work in less formal, more community-based settings. Peer Supporters often focus more on sharing their own lived experiences. They do this to facilitate mutually helpful conversations with others.
We are not a medical facility and are not able to prescribe or provide any medication or medical procedures. We are able to educate you on different kinds of birth control and help you get connected to a local doctor.
We can provide you with support on your pregnancy options and information on abortion procedures, but we can not provide or arrange for abortions and are not a medical facility.
We are not a medical facility and do not offer ultrasounds. We recommend seeing your doctor for medical services.

FAQ for Donors and/or Volunteers

Yes, any donation over $20 will be eligible for a tax receipt.
If you are not comfortable donating online you can mail a cheque to Box 935, Lethbridge, AB, T1J 3Z8 or give us a call at (403) 942-1819 to donate over the phone.
Yes! Recurring monthly donations are beneficial in guaranteeing a seamless running of our programs from month to month. You can sign up on our website or call the Centre at (403) 942-1819 for assistance.
Yes! There are many ways to get involved and each is as unique as you are. Check out our pages on donating new and used items or volunteering to explore some other options.
