Client Services Assistant – Full Time

Job Description
This position reports to and will work closely alongside the Client Services Director. The focus of this role is to support the LPCC team in creating a hospitable and welcoming space where clients will feel safe and well cared for.
Qualifications: This position must exhibit the following:

3. Agree with and be willing to uphold the Statement of Principles, Statement of Faith, and Policies of the Centre.

5. Demonstrate strong organization and computer skills.
6. Be self-motivated, dependable, and responsible.
7. Demonstrate patience, adaptability, and an ability to remain calm under pressure.
Academic Requirements:
1. Education or experience in any of the following would be an asset: Christian ministry, customer service, hospitality, administration, or social work.
Essential Functions:
Client Services
1. Greeting clients and helping them to feel welcome and safe.
2. Supporting communication with clients, including but not limited to, booking appointments, sending appointment reminders, answering phones, emails, and text messages, as well as supporting the after-hours phone.
3. Ensuring all client resources are stocked and organized, including but not limited to, material donations, community resources, pregnancy tests, etc.
4. Assisting Client Services Director with data entry and other administrative tasks as needed.
5. Supporting advocates and/or clients as necessary.
6. Support the resource team in receiving and sorting donations as necessary.
7. Ensure all community resources (ie. brochures, program information, etc) are kept up to date.
Facility Oversight
1. Opening at the beginning of each day and closing at the end of each day.
2. Ensuring all facility cleaning and maintenance is completed regularly.
3. Keeping facility supplies (such as toilet paper, paper towel, coffee, and cleaning supplies) stocked.
4. Support the training of volunteers specific to facility care and maintenance.
All LPCC paid staff are expected to attend and be involved in LPCC fundraising and promotional events outside of regular Centre hours, assisting as needed. This role is exempt from overtime pay but time off in lieu may be considered for excessive overtime when approved in advance by the Executive Director.
