Mother’s Day Campaign

Looking for something unique for your mom for Mother’s Day?  Unable to give her a gift in person, but still honour your mom with something meaningful?  In supporting the work of the Lethbridge Pregnancy Care Centre, you are providing help and encouragement to many different mothers and families within Southern Alberta.

The following options are available:

  • $25 provides an opportunity for a new mom to participate in the six-week Baby’s First Year class, offered free in the Centre twice annually.  This class teaches basics like baby development, sleep habits, nutritional information and more.
  • $50 provides diapers to an LPCC client for one month.  Being able to help with some of baby’s basic necessities is part of how the LPCC supports women who choose to carry their pregnancy to term and parent their baby.
  • $75 provides formula to an LPCC client for one month.  There are many reasons a woman may not be able to nurse a baby and providing quality nutrition to their baby can be a source of struggle.
  • $100 provides an opportunity for a woman to participate in the ten-week Living in Color post-abortion program, offered free in the Centre.  This program is designed to journey with women who are seeking to work through emotions regarding a past abortion and can be offered in a one-on-one setting or in a group.

Upon receipt of your gift, you will be emailed a downloadable pdf card that you can give to your mom, detailing the impact her gift will have.  Thank you for your support of mothers and families within Southern Alberta. Tax receipts will be issued to the person who makes the gift early in 2021.

Spending of funds is confined to programs and projects approved by the Board of Directors. Each restricted contribution designated towards such an approved program or project will be used as designated with the understanding that when the need for such a program or project has been met or cannot be completed for any reason determined by the organization, the remaining restricted contributions will be used where needed most.

The LPCC is a registered charitable organization (#805840337 RR0002).  Donations are tax deductible and any donation over $20 will receive a tax receipt.
